Tri Brain Yoga®

is an educational and experiential curriculum that is relevant to all yoga disciplines. Designed to inform yoga instructors and enthusiasts of the most recent evidence-based neuroscience of the head, heart, and gut brains, Tri Brain Yoga® supports the ancient wisdom and power of yoga as a tool to enhance human performance through the alignment and integration of these three neural networks of intelligence.

Deliverables

  • Learn evidence-based neuroscience findings about our three brains; Head, Heart and Gut

  • Gain unique insight about how your audience (and you) think, feel and behave

  • Learn about neuroplasticity, rewiring the brain, thinking, emotion, attention, habit, stress, building resilience and three brain health

  • Understand how yoga influences and supports three brain alignment and integration

  • Graduate with a Level One Tri Brain Yoga® Certification and Yoga Alliance continuing education credit.

  • The fundamentals and relevant functions of the head, heart and guts brains that are influenced by the practice of yoga

  • Core principles and anatomy of the Head Brain

  • The construction of emotions

  • The science behind distraction and attention

  • Stress and its impacts on the brain and body

  • The intelligence of the Heart Brain

  • Resilience and the autonomic nervous system

  • The science of the Heart Brain and its influence on cognition and emotion

  • Fundamental of the Gut Brain as a center of intuitive intelligence

  • The Gut-Brain connection

  • The role of the Vagus nerve

  • Tri Brain Yoga classes with emphasis on each brain

You can learn at your own pace. There is 12 hours of content. You can speed ahead, take your time or follow our recommendation below.

Week 1: Head Brain

Week 2: Heart Brain

Week 3: Gut Brain

Week 4: Review any content that needs clarification
